We sailed with Giorgos yesterday as a birthday treat for my girlfriend - and it was our best day in Kefalonia, hands down! We booked for a private sunset cruise and had the privilege of stunning vistas, private swimming spots and an incredible sunset that we'll remember forever. We can't thank Giorgos enough - he's a brilliant skipper, so knowledgeable - and really funny! It felt like a day at sea with a good mate. We have been back from Kefalonia for a couple of weeks now, but our day on-board with Assos Sailing guys is still the stand-out day of the holiday.
We were made so welcome and taken to some fabulous bays. We specifically wanted to sail to Kioni and they obliged.

We had the best day ever with Giorgos, the boat was beautiful, the swimming was perfect. The best water we have ever seen in the Med! He was good company and super easy to work with on the run up to our trip sorting out the logistics of taking our young baby onboard with us and ensuring the weather was right for us to have the perfect day! Would thoroughly recommend :-)

We went to beautiful beaches , many of which you can only get to by boat. A great way to spend a day. The best part was having the time to explore the island. I've never been to an island that was so beautiful.
We took the day crouse and visited Fiscardo, the beautiful Arkoudi beach and the neighbouring island Ithaki.
Next year, we will visit the other side of the Island, or spend 2 days to visit Lefkada.
Giorgos was a wonderful host.

Great trip a few weeks ago. George was brilliant, very accommodating and patient with one doddering old man with his man bag!! So glad we did this and one of the highlights of the holiday!
